BOOSTER CLUB AGM Tuesday 5 June 2 pm High School
The 2018 Booster Club AGM will be held on Tuesday 5 June at 2 pm in the shaded area outside the cafe in High School.
The agenda will be:
Report from the Chair
Report from the Treasurer
Confirmation of the new Executive Committee
All teachers, parents and guardians will be very welcome.
INTERNATIONAL NIGHT FRIDAY 11 MAY
We all had a great evening at International Night with performances from all of the school language learning groups, delicious home cooked food from over forty countries from Azerbaijan to Zimbabwe and lots of time to socialise and meet our friends.
Looking at the number of entry stamps we sold, first indications are that we had over 850 people at the party, maybe more as there were many people such as teachers, student volunteers, and young children who did not have to pay. As always any money Boosters made during the evening will go straight back to providing recreational and leisure facilities for the students throughout the school.
Booster purchases.
The Boosters are pleased to announce that they have recently purchased additional tables and chairs for the shaded area outside the cafe in High School and six picnic benches for the area of the gym courtyard in High School. These will give an additional seventy two seats for high schoolers to use for their recreation time and for their use when they do not have formal classes.
We have consulted the student councils and the leadership team of all sections of the school and have a substantial list of other items that we intend to buy with the money raised by the various Booster activities during the past year. We would very much welcome help from the community to assist with the actual purchasing. If you would like to help please get in touch with us on visbooster@gmail.com
