Every parent and member of Verdala School staff is a member of the Booster Club. It is a Parent Teacher Association for all. There is an Executive Committee elected each year at the Annual General Meeting. Their role is general co-ordination and the day to day running of the association. All decisions are taken at the monthly Booster meetings, advertised in the school calendar and on Managebac, and held usually on the second Monday of the month. Notification of the time and place for these meetings is sent out to all parents on Managebac.
While every parent is a Booster, the EXCOM of the VIS Boosters help facilitate things.
The money the Boosters raise, from the various events held throughout the year, as well as through their Stationery Stores, is spent on items which we believe will make the life of students more comfortable and fun. Recent examples are;
Shading in the recreation areas of Elementary and High School 2014
Outdoor seating for Middle and High School 2014
Refurbishment of girls' toilets in High School 2014
New climbing frame for Elementary School playground 2015
Artificial grass and furniture in the Middle School recreational area 2016.
Tables and chairs for Middle School.
Outdoor table tennis table for Middle School 2016
